Role Description The Public Relations Account Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role in beautiful Coconut Grove. This role supports day-to-day PR activities, including drafting and editing press materials, coordinating media outreach, and maintaining up-to-date contact lists and coverage reports. The coordinator assists with pitching stories to media outlets, arranging interviews, and monitoring client mentions across traditional and digital channels. Responsibilities include supporting event and campaign coordination, preparing client-ready status updates, and collaborating with internal teams across digital marketing, social media, and content creation to ensure cohesive messaging. The role also involves administrative support for accounts, such as scheduling meetings, organizing assets, and helping prepare presentations and recap documents. Qualifications Candidates should possess skills in Public Relations and Media Relations to manage outreach, build relationships, and support strategic communication efforts. Candidates should possess strong writing and press releases skills to draft clear, accurate, and compelling PR materials and campaign content. Candidates should possess excellent communication skills, including professional verbal and written communication, active listening, and the ability to present information clearly to clients and media. Relevant skills such as social media literacy, basic digital marketing knowledge, and familiarity with media monitoring and PR tools are beneficial. Preferred qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in public relations, communications, marketing, journalism, or a related field, and prior internship or entry-level experience in an agency or in-house PR environment. This is perfect for someone with 1-2 years of experience.
