LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a respected local company in Overland Park, Kansas to identify an experienced HR Generalist for a contract opportunity. This position is ideal for a human resources professional who enjoys supporting a variety of HR functions and contributing to a positive employee experience in a fast-paced environment.

Position Overview

The HR Generalist will support a broad range of human resources functions, including employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, compliance, and performance management. The successful candidate will have experience utilizing HRIS platforms to maintain employee records, generate reports, and support day-to-day HR operations. This role requires a proactive, organized professional who can effectively partner with both employees and leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes
• Maintain accurate employee records and documentation within the HRIS system
• Support recruiting efforts, including scheduling interviews and coordinating candidate communications
• Assist with benefits administration and employee enrollment activities
• Respond to employee questions regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs
• Partner with management on employee relations matters and workplace initiatives
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations
• Prepare HR reports, track workforce metrics, and maintain data integrity
• Support performance management and training initiatives
• Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive employee information

Qualifications

• 4+ years of HR Generalist experience required
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
• Experience working with HRIS systems required
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Ability to prioritize competing responsibilities and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• PHR, SHRM-CP, or similar HR certification preferred
• Experience supporting a diverse workforce in a professional business environment

Interview Process
