Position Summary: This professional position is responsible for all activities associated with the recruitment, enrollment and maintenance of iBudget waiver applicants; issuance and renewal of Medicaid Waiver Service Agreements (MWSA), processing provider expansion requests, and processing changes of ownership in APD iConnect. Responsibilities Review incoming Medicaid Waiver provider application packets and notify applicants of deficiencies within 30 days; close applications and send notice of closure if the complete application is not received within 45 days of notice. Maintain correspondence records in the provider record. Issue APD Initial iBudget Waiver Sign-off notice to applicants for submission to the AHCA provider enrollment portal once a complete application and background screening clearance, education and experience have been verified. Process requests for access to the AHCA Clearinghouse; monitor re‑screening compliance and process alerts to ensure providers adhere to time frames established in Florida laws; maintain communication with the State Office Background Screening unit regarding exemption packets and other screening matters. Track provider progress through the AHCA application process, close out applicants who do not complete the process and notify the State Office Provider Terminations team. Draft, route and issue initial Medicaid Waiver Service Agreements for those who meet AHCA enrollment requirements; enter and track MWSA dates in iConnect to ensure renewals are processed within designated time frames. Enter new providers into APD iConnect, including adding MWSA and Business Liability Insurance expiration dates and maintaining provider records. Provide technical assistance to providers regarding service provision requirements, refer to TRAIN Florida for user account setup, and respond to provider inquiries regarding enrollment qualifications and processes. Process requests for expansion with existing providers; submit denial action requests to State Office; communicate expansion approval or denial to the requesting provider. Assist in the development and submission of Provider Agency Action Forms for providers being considered for termination. Conduct provider recruitment activities, target recruitment of specific types of providers needed in the region, and participate in meetings, conference calls, training, workshops, and other activities as needed. Perform other duties as assigned, including activities related to disaster planning. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver’s license or other efficient means of transportation to travel for work purposes. Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Teams, Excel, and Word. Ability to multi‑task. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Maintain, monitor, and utilize tracking systems. Understand and use the Medicaid Waiver Services iBudget Handbook to ensure compliance with minimum qualifications and ongoing enrollment requirements. Travel to conduct enrollment activities as needed. Demonstrate skills in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Teams, Excel, and Word.
