Volt is immediately hiring for a 1st and 2nd Shift Cherry ForkLiftOperators (Multiple shifts available) Paying $23.00 an hour in Colton CA .

As a Cherry ForkLift Operator you will:

Job Description

• Day-to-Day Responsibilities
• Operates Raymond or Crown Cherry forklift / Order Picker in and around warehouse comfortable going up 23 feet high
• Lift pull push heavy material such as boxed sofas and various types of furniturefrom the warehouse for shipment tothe stores and DCs
• Moves product from Inbound Bins into the racks according to product type and dimension
• Relocates product from end caps and service area into racks
• Efficiently pick customer orders
• Ensures inbound product and transfers received are stored in designated rack areas
• Responsible for scanning merchandise prior to moving it to a different location
• Positions product on racking system
• Carry or transports orders to the dock with Cherry Picker Lift
• Able to operate radio frequency equipment
• Responsible for the completeness and correctness of all orders filled
• Inspects the equipment
• Maintains a clean free from debris warehouse floor
• Meet company standards for productivity
• Conducts operations in compliance with OSHA standards
• Conducts operations in a manner that promotes safety

This is a Full-Time Temp-to-Hire opportunity . 5days a week. 8hours per day.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Required Skills & Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Min of 1yearexperience operating a Cherry Picker Forklift in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Comfortable on lift that goes up 23 feet high
  • Proven experience with order picking and inventory selection processes.
  • Ability to lift pull push heavy material such as boxed sofa and various types of furniture
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality.
  • Ability to follow instructions and adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrated reliability dependability and a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume warehouse setting.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Preferred Skills & Qualifications
  • Previous experience working in a furniture warehouse distribution center or manufacturing environment.
  • Experience handling bulky oversized or high-value furniture products.
  • Familiarity with RF scanners and Warehouse Management Systems.
  • Knowledge of warehouse safety standards and best practices.
  • Experience operating additional material handling equipment such as reach trucks forklifts or electric pallet jacks.

Shifts Available:

• 1st shift
  • Mon-Fri 5am-1:30pm
  • Tues-Sat 7am-3:30pm
  • Fri-Tue 7am-3:30pm
  • Sat-Wed 7am-3:30pm
  • Sun-Thurs 7am-3:30pm
• 2nd shift:
  • Mon-Fri 2pm-10:30pm
  • Tues-Sat 3pm-11:30pm
  • Fri-Tue 3pm-11:30pm
  • Sun-Thurs 3pm-11:30pm

Pay Rate : $23.00 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors including the candidates education work experience work location specific job duties certifications etc.
