In the Sr IT Engineer- Tanium Administrator role, you will impact our operational efficiency by identifying automation opportunities, streamlining processes, and implementing advanced IT solutions that align with our business objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Analyze existing IT systems and processes to identify automation opportunities and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design automation solutions that meet business needs.
• Implement and maintain automation tools and frameworks to enhance operational efficiency and reduce manual efforts.
• Protect Company Assets by ensuring Vulnerability Compliance , staying informed of the most recent Security Threats and how to remediate them and/or minimize risks to company assets and data. Creating and Deploying solutions (scripts, tools and patches) in an automated and sustainable way.
• Engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations , translating them into actionable requirements for patching solutions.
• Participate in end-to-end development of Security Operations projects , from initial concept through implementation, testing, and support, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
• Adhere to Agile project management practices , actively participating in sprints, stand-ups, and retrospectives to ensure timely delivery of Vulnerability Remediation projects.
• Facilitate and coordinate new technology (Tools, Processes and Communication strategies) , ensuring that newly built endpoints meet the defined acceptance for security criteria and stakeholders are kept up to date on the process and procedures.
• Monitor and evaluate patching/compliance performance , identifying areas for continuous improvement and recommending enhancements based on user feedback and system metrics.

Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in designing and managing patching and compliance using Intune, SCCM, or Tanium.
• Strong technical knowledge of patch management processes and tools (Tanium, Intune, SCCM).
• Must have scripting skills with PowerShell, or other related technologies.
• Experience in vulnerability scanning and management tools such as Rapid7, Qualys, etc
• Experience with server operating systems such as Windows Server and Linux.
• 
  Familiarity with security compliance frameworks and best practices.
