Make a meaningful difference as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting pediatric students in a vibrant school setting near Huntsville, AL. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity ideal for those passionate about fostering communication and language skills among children. Both local and traveling professionals are encouraged to apply.
Key Experience & Skills:
- Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), with recent experience in pediatrics or school-based settings
- Proficiency evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in children
- Familiarity with IEPs, progress documentation, and collaborating within multidisciplinary teams
- Strong interpersonal skills, compassion, and adaptability in diverse school environments
- Ability to manage caseloads while delivering exceptional care and support to students
What You’ll Do:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans to address each student’s unique needs
- Implement targeted therapeutic techniques for speech, language, social/pragmatic, fluency, and voice disorders
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records as outlined by school and state guidelines
- Consult and collaborate with parents, teachers, and other school staff to optimize student outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional recommendations for ongoing support
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
