IV Compounding IV Sterile Compounding Staff Pharmacist | Thomasville, North Carolina

Job Description

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is perfect for a licensed pharmacist experienced in retail and compounding pharmacy environments. The role involves working in a specialty retail setting with a focus on both sterile and non-sterile compounding. You will manage prescription processing using PK software (similar to QS1), with training provided, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in filling orders.

Location: Thomasville, NC
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM with a 1-hour lunch break
Duration: 13-week contract with the potential for direct hire

Responsibilities:

Accurately dispense medications in compliance with state and federal regulations
Perform sterile and non-sterile compounding as required
Enter prescription orders into pharmacy management software
Provide excellent customer service and patient counseling
Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant pharmacy environment

Qualifications:

Active North Carolina pharmacy license (required)
Minimum 1 to 2 years of pharmacy experience
Experience with sterile compounding strongly preferred
Experience with non-sterile compounding is a plus
Ability to learn and adapt to PK order entry system
