Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A specialty retail pharmacy is seeking a knowledgeable Staff Pharmacist to support both sterile and non-sterile compounding operations. This contract-to-hire opportunity offers a structured 13-week assignment with the potential for direct hire, providing a clear pathway for career growth.

Work Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• One-hour lunch break

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense prescription medications in a specialty retail environment
• Perform sterile and non-sterile compounding to meet patient-specific needs
• Utilize proprietary order entry software (PK) to process prescriptions; training will be provided
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy laws and internal protocols
• Collaborate with pharmacy team members to ensure efficient and safe operations

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active North Carolina pharmacy license is required
• Minimum of 1 to 2 years of pharmacy experience in retail or clinical settings
• Experience with sterile compounding is a strong advantage
• Experience with non-sterile compounding is highly desirable
• Familiarity with pharmacy order entry systems is a plus; training available
