Republic Hospitality is seeking skilled and motivated Line Cooks to join our culinary teams. We’re looking for team members who thrive in a fast-paced kitchen, take pride in preparing high-quality food, and work well as part of a team. Line Cooks are responsible for preparing menu items to chef specifications, maintaining clean and organized workstations, and helping ensure food is prepared accurately, consistently, and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Set up and stock stations and prepare ingredients for service, including chopping, sauces, and portioning proteins.
• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, chef specifications, and presentation standards.
• Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure timely, accurate, and consistent food execution.
• Follow direction from the Executive Chef and Sous Chef while maintaining a positive, professional attitude.
• Maintain clean, organized workstations and properly store, label, and rotate food and inventory.
• Follow all sanitation, food safety, health, and kitchen procedures.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of restaurant, line cook, prep cook, or similar kitchen experience preferred .
• Knowledge of cooking methods, kitchen equipment, and food safety practices.
• Ability to work efficiently and stay organized in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality and consistency.
• Ability to work days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Reliable transportation to downtown Charleston.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• ServSafe certification preferred.
