This role supervises nursing activities at the nursing station each shift, ensures resident care plans are followed, and provides direct clinical oversight, medication administration, and staff supervision.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee resident care and safety during your assigned shift, including monitoring for significant changes in conditionPrepare and administer medications and treatments, including injections, and chart per facility procedureSupervise and delegate to CNAs and resident-care staff, checking work to ensure assignments are completedCommunicate with physicians, the Director of Nursing, and MDS Coordinators on resident status and care needsCover shift staffing gaps and call-ins; support orientation and training of nursing personnelMaintain accurate charting, treatment records, and controlled substance documentationComplete incident reports and notify family, physician, and consultants of order changesReport suspected resident abuse immediately; monitor labs and notify appropriate staff of abnormal resultsCurrent RN license in North DakotaGraduate of a state-approved professional nursing programLong-term care experience preferred; on-site training providedWest River Health Services is an Equal Opportunity Employer. #J-18808-Ljbffr Priority Dispatch Corp.
