Part-time Shipping & Receiving Associate- Temp-to-Hire


Location: Sugar Land, TX 77478


Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM


Pay: $18-$20 per hour, based on experience

Position Overview


We are seeking a dependable Operations Support Specialist to assist with shipping, receiving, inventory, and general operations at a small aerospace repair center.


This position will begin part-time, three days per week. Based on performance, business growth, and workload, there may be an opportunity to transition to a full-time position.


Responsibilities

• Prepare and process shipments using UPS, FedEx, and other carriers.
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming products and parts.
• Pack products and prepare shipping labels, packing lists, and related documents.
• Communicate directly with shipping carriers and coordinate deliveries.
• Enter shipping, receiving, and inventory information into company systems.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts.
• Pull parts for repair orders and ship removed parts back to headquarters.
• Support the Operations team with data entry and general administrative tasks.
• Assist with office supplies, common-area organization, and light facility support.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and Excel skills.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Shipping, receiving, warehouse, logistics, or inventory experience is preferred but not required. Experience with SAP, Business Central, UPS, or FedEx shipping systems is a plus.
