About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for Hedge Fund Operations to lead the drive for operational excellence within the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring seamless trade lifecycle management and accurate data processing across various asset classes. This role involves collaborating with trading teams to optimize workflows, contributing to the development of operational processes, and leveraging expertise in OMS/PMS systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy. The VP will also oversee daily reconciliations, maintain security master data, and engage with traders and portfolio managers to support dynamic investment operations. Applicants must have a Bachelor of Science degree in a relevant field, with 7-12 years' experience in middle-office operations within hedge funds or financial institutions. Proficiency in OMS/PMS systems, comprehensive trade lifecycle management, and experience with equity TRS, OTC derivatives processing, and corporate actions are essential. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, advanced Excel proficiency, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with Enfusion and AI tools is preferred. The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication and collaboration skills, and be adept at using project management skills to drive operational enhancements and innovation.
