Laser Machine OperatorThe laser technician is responsible for setup and operation of the Laser machine, rollers, brake presses and other machines necessary within the weld/fabrication department.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesProgram, setup, and operate the Laser cutter. Operate rollers, brake presses and machine polishersRead, verify, and understand blue prints and measurements in job traveler Work and program in Mastercam software.Keep up-to-date on new software specific to laser machineWork with Project Managers, Shop Foreman, Drafters, and Team Lead to ensure accuracy and job successUnderstand current job and machine processes Manage inventory of material for designated machinesFollow direction from Team Lead, Shop Foreman, and General Manager to facilitate work processesMaintain a clean work space including regular cleaning of machines and equipment.Qualifications5 years of machining experienceProficient in Mastercam, at least 1 year experienceCompletion of a machining program from an accredited trade schoolMust be eligible to work in the US.All qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, age, color, sex (including pregnancy), religion, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, military status, genetic information, or any other status protected by applicable laws or regulations.
