Position Details
- Status: Full-Time
- $24/hr - $30/hr+ DOE
- Environment: Fast-paced, collaborative, music-friendly shop
- Program CNC machines using MasterCam
- Set up and operate 5-axis Mills , live-tooling Lathes , and Wire EDM machines
- Read and interpret complex blueprints, CAD models, and technical drawings
- Execute jobs independently with minimal supervision and high precision
- Maintain tight tolerances through in-process and final inspections
- Troubleshoot machining challenges and optimize processes
- Collaborate with team members to improve efficiency and quality
- Oversee projects from start to finish - from print interpretation to machining, polishing, and final presentation
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- 5+ years of CNC machining experience or equivalent advanced skill level
- High proficiency with MasterCam
- Proven experience operating 5-axis milling machines
- Strong understanding of GD&T, tolerances, and precision machining principles
- Ability to critically think, troubleshoot, and develop effective solutions
- Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and grow
- Team-oriented mindset with clear communication skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with frequent changeovers
- A machinist who enjoys variety and problem-solving , not repetitive button-pushing
- Someone who takes ownership of their work from start to finish
- A professional who values precision, accountability, and craftsmanship
- A steady hand under pressure who still knows how to enjoy the process
