AP Specialist (Property Management) – On-site in Chandler, AZ | $24.50/hr Our client, a leading real estate and property management organization, is seeking an AP Specialist (Property Management) to support their high-volume accounting operations in Chandler, AZ. This short-term contract role offers hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced corporate environment and is ideal for someone who enjoys detailed administrative work, consistency, and efficiency in financial processing. Position Overview The AP Specialist (Property Management) will primarily focus on processing manual check requests and performing key administrative tasks that support the company’s accounts payable operations. This role will work closely with internal teams to ensure compliance, accuracy, and timeliness across all transactions while assisting in high-volume processing periods. Responsibilities Process manual check requests and ensure completeness and accuracy of supporting documentation. Maintain adherence to SOX compliance standards and internal control policies. Apply familiarity with grant-of-authority guidelines for payment approval and documentation. Support AP operations by performing administrative tasks such as preparing, organizing, and distributing checks ("check stuffing"). Handle a high transaction volume. Utilize the Yardi accounting system to record and track AP activity. Qualifications 1-2 years of experience in Accounts Payable or a similar accounting support role. Working knowledge of SOX compliance and internal control procedures. Experience with Yardi property management software is required. Ability to manage a high workload in a fast‑paced environment. Additional Details Duration: 60 days with possible conversion. Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40 hours/week; standard hours during 1st week for training, flexible start/end times afterward.
