Inventory specialist

Rewarding warehouse opportunity available in the Atlanta area for one of the largest hositpals in the city. This is a temp to permanent position.

• Loading & Unloading trucks by hand
• Sorting and delivering equipment & supplies to all floors in a hospital
• Collecting items and safely transporting materials to the shipping bay.
• Receiving and documenting items for delivery or return.
• Keeping an inventory of all items entering or exiting the warehouse.
• Identifying any missing, lost or damaged materials and immediately notify the supervisor.
• Ensuring that all the items are safely and securely packed and labeled for shipping.
• Managing all items with appropriate care.
• Assisting with training of newly employed workers.

Scanning labels to ensure products are shipped to the right destination.

MUST COMMIT TO MEDICAL SCREENINGS AND VACCINATIONS Tuesday-Saturday shift 4:00am-12:30pm Sunday-Thursday shift 4:00am-2:30pm

salary: $20 - $21 per hour

Responsibilities

Warehouse associate's include loading/unloading trucks by hand, picking, staging, packing and deliver to all the floors in a hospital and maintain inventory levels. The goal is to increase efficiency, profitability and customer satisfaction. The main responsibilities for our warehouse associates are to quickly help break down production loads, separate and organize items, categorize into sections and be able to read orders and pick and place different items in each order prior to delivery.

Must be FLU Vaccinated

MUST provide Immunization record

Additional Medical Screenings - may be required to visit lab for verification of immunizations (bloodwork drawn and sent to lab)

Material Handler Experience

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
• working in a non-temperature controlled environment
• manual lifting up to 50lbs
• standing for 8 hours at one time
• working weekends
