As a Security Officer Licensed Driver Patrol in Houston, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver's license and offers the opportunity to support daily operations with agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity in a people-first culture.

Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and sharing information with site contacts when needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the sales floor, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor and associate activity, and support loss prevention and other security-related efforts in accordance with site expectations.
• Assist with closing and opening routines, follow post orders, and communicate clearly with management, staff, and/or first responders during routine and emergency situations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
