No Offer Description We are seeking a candidate who will develop ambitious research in the discipline of physical sciences and actively participate in the teaching and organizational activities of the Faculty. The candidate is expected to demonstrate scientific independence, strong motivation, openness to collaboration, and readiness to conduct research at an international level. Employment at the Faculty of Physics and Astronomy, Adam Mickiewicz University, offers the opportunity to work in an active academic environment that supports scientific development, research collaboration, project acquisition, and the improvement of teaching competencies. The duties of the successful candidate will include conducting scientific research, publishing research findings, participating in the Faculty's organizational life, and teaching. The annual teaching load is 210 hours. Type of employment contract and expected duration of employment: The initial employment contract will be for a fixed term of 2 years, with the possibility of a permanent contract following a positive evaluation. Required documents: Application letter of the candidate addressed to the Vice-Rector announcing the competition; Diplomas or certificates issued by colleges and universities attesting to education and degrees or titles held (in case of academic degrees obtained abroad - the documents must meet the equivalence criteria set out in Article 328 of the Act of 20 July 2018 Law on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws of 2023, item 742 Polish: Dziennik Ustaw 2024 poz. 1571 t.j.); Information on research, teaching and organizational achievements, including: a) scientific publications, b) research projects, c) research stays, workshops, and training courses, d) conferences and seminars, e) science outreach activities, f) teaching experience. Description of research plans (max. 2 pages); Description of the most important scientific achievement (max. 1 page); Consent to the processing of personal data as follows: In accordance with Article 6 (1) (a) of the General Data Protection Regulation of 27 April 2016.
