About the Role
The Company is in search of a Head of Technology Enablement to spearhead a range of underwriting, operational, and technology transformation initiatives. This pivotal role involves serving as the key link between the underwriting business units and the Data, Analytics & Technology organization, with a focus on driving the evaluation, prioritization, and execution of new technology initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team that manages core operational systems and will be instrumental in establishing and leading a structured project governance and intake framework. The role requires a builder and developer mindset, with the opportunity to partner with DA&T to continually evolve best-in-class systems. The Head of Technology Enablement will also be tasked with translating business needs into practical technology solutions, promoting the use of technology, and leading data stewardship practices to ensure data integrity for business and technology initiatives. Applicants for the Head of Technology Enablement position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience, with a minimum of 15 years in insurance operations, business operations, or technology enablement/digital transformation leadership, preferably within a commercial lines or related carrier environment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading enterprise-wide transformation initiatives, deep knowledge of underwriting and policy & claims administration systems, and experience in designing workflows that integrate AI and data science models. Strong project management, change management, and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to manage and develop large, distributed teams. The role demands a professional who is comfortable driving outcomes, unblocking execution, and is adept at building consensus across various business functions. Professional designations such as PMP or CPCU are a plus.
