Summerville Medical Center is a 124-bed hospital that provides acute care and comprehensive health services to the Lowcountry community. The hospital is home to a level II nursery for ill or premature newborns, a maternal-fetal telemedicine program for high-risk pregnancies, and home-like labor, delivery and recovery rooms. Together with other facilities in its system, the hospital delivers more babies than any other hospital in the area. This is a 2.0 coverage program so two OBHG Physicians are on site 24/7.

Roper St. Francis Berkeley Hospital is a new full-service facility serving the Berkeley County community. It is home to a labor, delivery and postpartum unit. The hospital is excited to be providing quality healthcare closer to home for thousands of their neighbors dedicated to their mission of healing all people with compassion, faith and excellence.

Summerville is in Dorchester County but parts of the city are also located in Charleston and Berkeley counties. It is home to more than 50,000 residents and is conveniently located just minutes from Charleston. Summerville claims the title "The Birthplace of Sweet Tea" and known as "The Flower Town in the Pines." Summerville has an abundance of public and private gardens and is especially beautiful in the spring when the azaleas bloom.

East Cooper Medical Center ( ECMC) has comprehensive maternity services that are designed with mothers and babies in mind. ECMC has a Level II nursery and has maternal-fetal care specialists with advanced technology, as well as IBCLC certified lactation consultants. ECMC sees approximately 1,800 annual deliveries.

Just across the iconic Ravenel Bridge, Mount Pleasant is a refreshing change of pace from busy Charleston. From fresh seafood at numerous award winning restaurants along Shem Creek to historic military locations that have shaped South Carolina history, Mount Pleasant offers the best of the low country. Visitors can immerse themselves in 18th century plantation homes as well as a few hidden restaurants, such as The Wreck. Notable sights include Boone Hall Plantation, where The Notebook was filmed, as well as Remley's Point, an African American culture and jazz hotspot where the likes of Duke Ellington, Etta James, and Louis Armstrong have performed.
