Private Client Services Tax Director

The client is seeking a Private Client Services Tax Director to join its growing private client team. This role involves working with a sophisticated client base, including high net worth individuals, entrepreneurs, owner-managed businesses, trusts, and families. The position requires overseeing clients' tax affairs and acting as a trusted adviser, aligning clients' personal and commercial objectives with complex tax matters. The team emphasizes a relationship-driven approach while providing a broad range of advisory and compliance services across private client, trust, and wealth structures. The Private Client Services Tax Director will manage a diverse portfolio of clients, many with complex structures and international considerations, requiring sound judgment and leadership capability. The role is highly client-facing and involves regular interaction with senior stakeholders, contributing to practice development through high-quality service delivery and identifying new opportunities. Key responsibilities include managing work in progress, recoveries, billing, and ensuring adherence to quality control and risk management procedures, while building strong, long-term client relationships and leading projects. Successful candidates will possess in-depth knowledge of private client taxation and experience advising high net worth individuals, families, and wealth protection structures. A degree-level education, alongside CTA and/or ACA qualification or equivalent, is required. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to manage complex advisory work, senior client relationships, and a client portfolio, including engagement take-on and billing.
