Lead Software Engineer
Virtual Vocations Inc
To design, develop, and implement scalable software applications and cloud-based solutions, the full-time Lead Software Engineer will manage data integration and analytics, optimize application performance, and ensure data security while working remotely with occasional travel to local offices. Key responsibilities Lead the design and development of full-stack applications using industry-adopted languages and frameworks Provide technical consultation and direction to business and product teams, ensuring adherence to best practices in coding, testing, and software architecture Mentor team members and drive product testing practices to ensure high-quality deliverables Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely related field 6 years of experience in software development and application management using relevant programming languages Experience with AWS services and cloud-based solution design and deployment Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and PySpark, as well as database management with SQL and NoSQL 2 years of experience participating in Agile teams and delivering iterative improvements
