Business Litigation Associate Attorney – National Law Firm Century City, Los Angeles, CA Full-Time, Hybrid (Tuesday–Thursday in office) Base salary $195,000–$235,000/year + discretionary bonus About the Role A national law firm is seeking a Business Litigation Associate Attorney to join its Century City office. This is a lean team environment with direct exposure to a high-level trial partner handling sophisticated business disputes, real estate litigation, partnership disputes, and complex commercial matters. The role expects an experienced attorney who can handle substantive litigation work independently and with minimal hand-holding. What You Will Do Handle pleadings, motions, and briefing on complex litigation matters Take and defend depositions Manage fact development and discovery Work directly with partners on high-stakes litigation and arbitration matters Handle substantive litigation responsibilities with minimal hand-holding Support business litigation, commercial litigation, and real estate litigation matters Must-Have Background 2+ years of litigation experience Strong motion drafting and briefing experience Deposition experience preferred Business litigation, commercial litigation, or real estate litigation experience strongly preferred Experience from a strong boutique, mid‑sized, regional, or national law firm preferred Must be licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar Billables 1,850 hours annually Includes 50 hours of pro bono credit Compensation Base salary ranges from $195,000–$235,000 depending on experience level.
