Patient Accounts Representative

Opportunity: Are you passionate about the patient experience? Do you have medical billing and customer service skills you are looking to put to use? Augusta Aiken ENT &Allergy is looking for a Patient Accounts Representative to work on patient accounts and assist patients with questions regarding their statements and balances.

Who We Are: For the past 40 years, Augusta ENT PC has been providing a full spectrum of specialty care for people of all ages across the CSRA and Statesboro. With 5 offices, 16 physicians, and a variety of services Augusta ENT PC strives to help everyone feel their very best.

Duties (summary): What does a day look like for a Patient Accounts Representative? Talk with patients in the office or on the phone regarding their outstanding balance. Assist the Front Desk Receptionists with insurance questions. Calculate surgery deposits and discuss with patients prior to the surgery.

Our Ideal Candidate: A detail- oriented and organized professional who excels in data entry, has a keen ability to focus on fine details, and communicates effectively with healthcare professionals and patients. Communicates comfortably and effectively with patients and other employees. Minimum of 2 years of medical office experience; prior experience with patient accounts preferred. Knowledge of medical insurance and ability to read and interpret EOBs.
