Senior Accountant, COGS

Principal Duties and ResponsibilitiesResponsible for inventory accounting transactions, including but not limited to shrink, out of stock inventory movements, in-transit inventory, cost of sales analysis, product and freight receipts analysis, as well as stock ledger maintenance and reportingResponsible for all inventory related reconciliationsOversee other expense categories as assigned, including monthly journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysisEnsure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processesCommunicate regularly with other departments on accounting related questionsAssist with interim and year-end auditsAssist in preparation of financial reports and monthly financial statement reviewSupport the annual budget and forecasting process as neededResponsible for maintaining discretion related to all confidential/sensitive company and customer informationConsistently arrive promptly to work the assigned schedulePerform all other assigned dutiesExperience and Skills RequiredEducation: BS or BA, concentration in AccountingCPA or CPA candidate preferred3+ years of General Ledger experienceInventory/COGS experience is strongly preferredRetail experience a plusBased in Dallas/Ft.
