Overview Under the direction of the Department Manager and in association with the radiologists, the technologist conducts themselves in a professional manner, responding to patient needs and supporting their colleagues and associates in providing quality patient care. The CT Technologist performs services in accordance with an accepted standard of practice and demonstrates expertise in minimizing radiation exposure to the patient, self, and other members of the health care team. Qualifications Post High School Special Training Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Cross‑trained in Cat Scan State of FL Certified Radiologic Technologist General Radiographer license required (Computer Tomography qualifications preferred) ARRT(R) required ARRT(CT) preferred BLS required Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English #J-18808-Ljbffr UF Health
