Staff Clinician
Chapter 13 Trustee Middle District of Alabama
The University of Cincinnati seeks a Staff Clinician for its Counseling Center in Student Affairs. This role provides individual and group counseling, intake assessments, and crisis intervention to a diverse student population, supporting mental health, wellness, and academic success. The clinician will deliver outreach and workshops, collaborate with campus partners, and maintain thorough, confidential documentation. The position contributes to a student-centered, research-driven environment that values diversity, innovation, and community engagement, with opportunities for professional development within a comprehensive academic institution. Provide individual and group counseling to students addressing mental health, academic, and personal concerns Conduct intake assessments, crisis intervention, and safety planning as needed Develop and facilitate workshops and outreach programs that promote student wellness and resilience Collaborate with faculty, residence life, and campus partners to support student success and referrals Maintain accurate, confidential clinical documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards Participate in case consultation, supervision, and professional development activities Contribute to initiatives that advance diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging in counseling services Support assessment and quality-improvement efforts within the Counseling Center Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in clinical practice Individual counseling Group counseling Clinical assessment Crisis intervention Risk assessment and safety planning Electronic health record documentation Workshop and psychoeducational program development Case consultation and collaboration Cultural competence in diverse student populations Ethical and legal standards in mental health practice Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k State of Ohio license or license-eligible as Psychologist, Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Independent Social Worker (LISW) Training in college counseling or student mental health settings preferred Crisis intervention and risk assessment training #J-18808-Ljbffr Chapter 13 Trustee Middle District of Alabama
