Maintenance Technician - Third Shift

Location: Grand Prairie, TX 75052

Pay Rate: $20-$29/hour

Shift: Third Shift

About the Role

Stride Staffing has partnered with a leading automotive manufacturer in the Grand Prairie area. We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join their team.

This role involves performing a wide range of maintenance and repair operations to keep equipment, machinery, and tools in top condition. You'll troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems while helping minimize downtime and support continuous production.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect plant operations and identify issues or trends affecting performance.
• Participate in team shift meetings and contribute to daily operational plans.
• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Assist with cleaning, troubleshooting, and process improvements.
• Collaborate with supervisors and external contractors to ensure efficient communication and follow-up on maintenance schedules.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Maintenance Supervisors.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of technical school or equivalent experience .
• 4+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and comprehend technical drawings .
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, and electronic controls .
• Basic electrical troubleshooting skills required.
• Safety and environmental awareness training.
• PLC programming or troubleshooting experience is a plus .
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and 20 lbs frequently, and perform physical tasks such as climbing, squatting, and kneeling.
