The Role

As an Equipment Operations Supervisor, you will provide direct oversight of a maintenance team in a fast paced, heavy equipment environment that feels more like construction than traditional manufacturing. You will be responsible for preventative maintenance, breakdown response, work order management, and the ongoing development of your team. This is a first shift position with a stable, globally recognized company that has been in operation for decades.

What You'll Be Doing

• Supervising and developing a maintenance team
• Overseeing preventative maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime and reliability
• Managing and prioritizing work orders for both in house staff and outside contractors
• Diagnosing and directing repairs on heavy and mobile equipment
• Ensuring all safety and environmental compliance standards are upheld at all times
• Coordinating with operations and warehouse teams to ensure parts and materials are available
• Monitoring technician skill sets and building targeted training plans
• Maintaining accurate maintenance records and reporting to leadership
• Supporting continuous improvement efforts across the maintenance operation

What You Bring

• Supervisory experience in a maintenance, industrial, or construction environment
• Strong background in heavy or mobile equipment repair and maintenance
• Mechanical aptitude and hands on problem solving skills
• Experience managing preventative maintenance programs and work orders
• Familiarity with CMMS platforms such as SAP, Oracle, or similar systems is a plus
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook
• Strong communication skills with both your team and leadership
• Safety conscious mindset with a commitment to compliance
• Valid drivers license
• Welding background or fabrication experience is a plus
