Assists plans examination staff with problem resolution and delegates tasks. Establishes priorities, monitors duties, and ensures compliance of all Plans Examiners with the Ohio Revised Code, Administrative Code, and Ohio Building Code. Assists the Bureau Chief in developing policies and procedures to maintain conformance with rules and regulations of the BBS and the ORC. Qualifications Certificate to practice architecture per Section 4703.06 of the Revised Code OR certificate of registration as a professional engineer per Section 4733.02 of the Revised Code. At least three (3) years of plan review experience for projects governed by the Ohio Building Code (OBC). Proficiency in architecture or engineering as applicable to plan review responsibilities.
