Billing Specialist

Job Type Full-time, Non - Exempt Position (On-Site) Key Responsibilities Processing invoices in a timely manner based on contractual terms and services provided. Review and verify billing data for accuracy and completeness. Resolve billing discrepancies and disputes in a professional and timely manner. Maintain and update billing records and client accounts. Collaboration with the operations team to ensure proper documentation is received from our drivers. Assist in month‑end closing and reconciliation processes. Answer phone calls and assist clients with billing inquiries and issues. Receiving and organizing incoming payments, verifying credibility, and posting payments in a timely manner. Update our system with payment information and other financial data. Notify clients of upcoming or missed payment deadlines. Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; experience with billing software is a plus. Perform other duties as assigned. High school diploma, GED, or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field preferred Basic understanding of billing principles At least 2 years of logistics or accounting experience preferred Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; experience with billing software is a plus.
