Retail Customer Service Associate

The Retail Customer Service Associate supports daily operations of our retail store by delivering excellent customer service, supporting sales, and maintaining a clean, organized shopping environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with customers, thrives in a fast-paced retail setting, and is willing to assist with all aspects of store operations.

Duties and responsibilities

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Greet and assist customers with product selection and purchases
• Support retail sales by providing knowledgeable and friendly service
• Restock merchandise and maintain an organized, visually appealing sales floor
• Assist with inventory organization in the retail and adjacent warehouse areas
• Perform general cleaning and upkeep to ensure a safe and welcoming store environment
• Support daily store operations and assist with Retail Store Manager duties when needed
• Uphold Weinbrenner Shoe Company's core values in all customer and team interactions

Qualifications and experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred, but not required
• Ability to learn and use company business systems, including ERP software
• Strong verbal communication and customer service skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional while problem-solving in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math skills (addition and subtraction)
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Frequent use of hands and arms for handling merchandise and equipment
• Ability to occasionally lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds
• Close vision required for customer transactions and product handling
