Community Development Manager, West (Pacific Northwest)

Job Title: Community Development Manager, West (Pacific Northwest) Location: Washington, Oregon, Idaho About the Job The Community Development Manager will play a critical role in driving sales, optimizing care pathways for rare disease patients, and partnering cross‑functionally to enhance patient outcomes and achieve organizational goals. The role focuses on growing and expanding the rare disease business in the region, cultivating existing business, identifying growth opportunities via lead/trigger follow‑up, and reporting to the Commercial Strategic Account Director (CSAD). Responsibilities include engaging community prescribers, generating growth through digital leads, collaborating on customer value account plans, and supporting the rare disease pipeline. Main Responsibilities Maintain relationships with stakeholders to provide disease awareness, product knowledge, and referral support. Proactively identify and pursue potential patient opportunities in Community & Development accounts through innovative prospecting methods. Responsible for 5 therapeutic areas and 7 brands. Build and execute against clear account plans. Achieve and exceed patient sales targets. Cultivate and maintain a diverse network of relationships with healthcare providers, demonstrating adaptability and enthusiasm for engaging with contacts and activities. Educate targeted healthcare providers on the benefits of the Sanofi RD portfolio of therapies and offerings. Build awareness of signs and symptoms of lysosomal storage disorders. Educate on proper diagnosis pathway, diagnostic tests, and free testing programs. Educate on product administration, expectations of treatment, and importance of adherence. Support referral network: encourage referrals to right specialists to manage treatments. Effectively convey complex clinical and reimbursement product information to key stakeholders in a competitive marketplace. Collaborate effectively with Sanofi team members within and across functions. Travel as needed to assigned accounts and regions to meet with key stakeholders. About You Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree. 4+ years of sales experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare industry. Strategic sales thinker who can analyze complex market situations and develop innovative solutions to drive sales. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience in rare diseases or specialized therapeutic areas. Digital literacy and a digital‑first mindset. Resourceful and skilled at prospecting.
