Senior Accountant

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations and support financial reporting and closing processes. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate will have strong experience in inventory accounting with the ability to handle high-volume transactions and complex inventory activities and Tech Savvy as the company integrates to a new system. The candidate should also be tech‑savvy and adaptable, as the company is currently integrating a new system. Key Responsibilities Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes Prepare and review journal entries and general ledger accounts Oversee Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions Monitor cash flow, AP/AR aging, and resolve discrepancies Manage inventory accounting, including tracking, valuation, and reconciliation Ensure accurate reporting of inventory Perform account and bank reconciliations Support financial reporting and variance analysis Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls Assist with audits and tax‑related filings Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in: Parts sourcing, trading, or manufacturing environments Strong knowledge of general accounting, AP/AR, and financial reporting Experience with inventory accounting Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage and Microsoft Excel High attention to detail and accuracy Good communication and organizational skills About the Work Environment We are a small, financially stable organization with a collaborative and family‑oriented culture.
