Exciting contract opportunities are available for speech-language pathologists seeking rewarding roles supporting student growth in educational settings near East Amherst, NY! Two full-time positions are open, both designed to cover leaves of absence and provide crucial speech-language support to students through direct, onsite service.

Role Details:
The first assignment begins in early October and concludes at the end of January (12 weeks). This role is primarily focused on a high school population (70%) with additional responsibility at a non-public school (30%) within the district. The second contract starts at the end of November and extends through January, centered at a middle school campus. Each position is designed around manageable, supportive schedules with 7-8 daily therapy sessions, allocated planning periods, and a scheduled lunch duty.

Who We Hope to Find:

• Holds a current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
• Possesses a valid teaching certificate and appropriate state SLP license
• Has strong knowledge and experience in school-based SLP practices
• Comfortable balancing a dynamic caseload between multiple buildings (as needed for the first assignment)
• Demonstrates excellent communication skills with students, staff, and families
• Flexible, organized, and committed to providing effective, evidence-based speech-language therapy
• Available for full-time, onsite work for the full 12-week duration of the assignment

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language therapy for eligible students in individual and group settings
• Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and participate in team meetings
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary staff to support student achievement
• Participate in scheduled lunch duty and integrate into the school community
• Utilize planning time to prepare meaningful therapy sessions
