Job Summary

The Sales Specialist- Wine & Spirits is a direct hire opportunity for a motivated sales professional with experience in the wine, spirits, food and beverage, restaurant, hotel, or hospitality industries. This role focuses on growing wine and spirits presence within hotel and restaurant accounts, supporting promotional initiatives, building strong customer relationships, and driving brand visibility across the local market in Bayamon, PR.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver professional presentations to prospective clients and support growth within hotel, restaurant, and hospitality accounts.
- Develop and manage weekly sales routes while maintaining consistent communication with assigned customers.
- Monitor inventory levels, resolve delivery issues, address incomplete shipments, and help prevent product shortages.
- Coordinate wine and spirits tastings, promotional events, festivals, hotel conventions, and tourism industry activities.
- Train restaurant and hospitality staff, including servers, bartenders, banquet sales teams, and other customer-facing employees.
- Collaborate with internal sales, key account, and brand management teams to support customer accounts, supplier visits, marketing initiatives, and incentive programs.

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary range: $30,000 to $32,000 per year.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Grow wine and spirits sales and brand presence within hotel, restaurant, and hospitality accounts.
- Manage customer routes, account communication, product availability, and market support activities.
- Coordinate tastings, product training, promotional events, supplier visits, and customer engagement initiatives.
- Collaborate with sales, key account, and brand teams to support account performance and customer satisfaction.

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in wine and spirits sales and/or marketing.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in the food and beverage or hospitality industry, including restaurants and hotels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong presentation, relationship-building, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to travel locally to visit customers, support market activities, and attend industry events.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience supporting cold market sales channels.
- Experience coordinating wine and spirits tastings, restaurant staff training, hospitality events, or supplier market visits.
- Knowledge of hotel, restaurant, tourism, and convention sales environments.
