Work Environment

As a vital member of our team at the Avenel Rehabilitation Center, you will work onsite within a modern, dynamic outpatient clinic environment. Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized assessment and treatment for each patient, understanding their unique goals and needs.
• Maintain a manageable patient load that allows for thorough attention to each individual during therapy sessions.
• Implement orthopedic outpatient care techniques based on your expertise and previous experience in the field of physical therapy.
• Utilize cost-effective and evidence-based treatment modalities to enhance patient mobility and function.
• Emphasize non-invasive treatment options and work towards minimizing the reliance on pain medications.
• Develop comprehensive and personalized care plans incorporating diverse treatment techniques tailored to the patient's requirements.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily serve a diverse population of outpatient clients, including athletes recovering from sports-related injuries, post-operative patients, and individuals seeking improvement in mobility due to chronic conditions. Your approach will focus on delivering compassionate and customized care that encourages active participation and empowers each patient in their recovery journey.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) program.
• Possession of a valid and active Physical Therapist license in New Jersey, with no history of sanctions or board proceedings.
• Demonstrated proficiency in various manual therapy techniques.
• Ability to create and implement successful, evidence-based exercise programs tailored to patients' needs.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) software, notably Web PT, to ensure accurate documentation of treatments.
• Strong foundation of knowledge regarding contemporary physical therapy techniques and methodologies.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in an outpatient clinic setting, preferably in orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Experience with sports rehabilitation and advanced manual therapy techniques is highly desirable.
