Overview Sleep Number® is the leader in personalized sleep wellness. The Sales Representative role is a high‑impact position focused on improving lives by personalizing sleep. You will discover each customer’s sleep needs, match them with the right Sleep Number products, and provide exceptional in‑store experiences. Responsibilities Discover each customer’s sleep needs and match them with the right Sleep Number products. Clearly explain product benefits and current promotions while delivering personalized customer experiences to drive satisfaction and exceed sales goals. Proactively nurture prospective customers through outbound calls, focusing on building relationships that generate repeat and new business. Maintain a polished showroom and deliver an exceptional store experience. Participate in sales practice training and coaching to sharpen your skills. Qualifications Strong communication skills with the ability to adapt to diverse customer needs. Goal‑oriented and customer‑focused attitude, with a drive to exceed individual and team sales goals. Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including evenings and weekends. 1–2 years of retail, customer service, or other customer‑facing experience. High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred: Experience in consultative or relationship‑based sales, ideally in a commission‑driven environment. Comfortable using CRM systems, point‑of‑sale technology, and interactive sales tools (e.g., iPads, apps). Compensation & Benefits Most team members earn a salary of $61,000 – $70,000 annually; actual earnings vary and are not guaranteed. Base pay of $17.75 per hour, uncapped commission and bonus potential, non‑draw commission structure.
