Work Environment\n

This position is structured around a telehealth framework, enabling therapists to engage with patients remotely. The work schedule generally spans from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with opportunities for flexibility to accommodate patient needs. As part of our remote team, you will be equipped with advanced telehealth technology to facilitate effective communication and therapy sessions while maintaining compliant and secure patient data practices.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed mental health assessments that take into account the cultural, social, and personal contexts of each patient to formulate tailored treatment plans.

• Implement diverse therapeutic interventions based on the latest evidence-based practices, ensuring that all methods respect each patient's cultural background.

• Facilitate individual therapy, family sessions, and group therapy, optimizing patient engagement to tackle various mental health concerns including anxiety, depression, and trauma recovery.

• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure comprehensive care and support for our patients.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support strategies during mental health emergencies, applying strong crisis management techniques.

• Educate patients and their families on available treatment methods, mental health challenges, and local resources while fostering a sense of empowerment.

• Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions while adhering to HIPAA regulations and ethical guidelines.

• Actively participate in team meetings, case discussions, and relevant training to continuously enhance professional skills and cultural competency.

• Stay updated on current research and best practices in mental health therapy to provide the most effective care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In your role as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will serve a diverse range of clients, including ethnic and cultural minorities, LGBTQ+ individuals, and immigrant populations who may experience unique mental health challenges. Understanding the various cultural backgrounds of your patients will be crucial in tailoring your approaches and ensuring that each patient feels heard and respected.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A valid and current state license as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT.

Compensation and Benefits\n
