Field Service Technician I

About the Role We’re actively seeking a Field Service Technician to deliver effective solutions and support customers with the highest level of service standards. Responsibilities Report product failure trends and serviceability issues to your manager with necessary documentation, ensuring accurate record keeping. Meet customer demands by providing efficient, responsive, and accurate Field/Shop/on-site maintenance. Properly maintain all technical information, Field Service Reports, Expense Reports, and Canon property assigned. Showcase strong customer communication and satisfaction skills. Maintain the performance of assigned machines. Facilitate performance at a level which helps achieve the branch/district’s overall metric targets. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Basic understanding of internet environments. Ability to complete a 120‑day introductory period and the PDIF (Printing and Digital Imaging Foundations) new‑hire class. Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record; ability to travel. Required to obtain necessary security and customer clearances to enter premises. able to lift up to 50 pounds and be active >50% of the time (walking, standing, stooping/kneeling). Compliance with customer policies and protocols, including COVID‑19 vaccination requirements, if applicable. Compensation & Benefits Hourly salary range: $19.00–$26.31. Transportation allowance.
