An exciting opportunity is available for two experienced pharmacists to support an 8-week EMR conversion project in Shafter, CA. This contract role focuses on assisting with the transition from Cerner to EPIC software systems while the permanent pharmacy staff dedicates time to implementation and troubleshooting. This position provides valuable experience working with both Cerner and EPIC in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide pharmacy services during evening shifts from 3:00 pm to 3:30 am (12-hour shifts)
• Support daily pharmacy operations while permanent staff focus on EMR conversion
• Utilize expertise in Cerner and EPIC systems to maintain medication safety and accuracy
• Collaborate with clinical teams to resolve issues related to the new software system
• Ensure compliance with all pharmacy and healthcare regulations during the transition period

Qualifications:

• Active California pharmacist license is required
• Recent experience (within the last 5 years) working with both Cerner and EPIC as a direct employee or by successfully completing a contract assignment
• BLS certification required
• Ability to consistently work 48 hours per week during the contract duration
• Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in fast-paced healthcare settings

Schedule:

• Evening shifts, 3:00 pm to 3:30 am (12-hour shifts)
• Orientation sessions available starting August 3rd or August 17th
