Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Florence, Kentucky

Job Description Make a meaningful impact in education as a contracted Speech-Language Pathologist, working full time with K-12 students. This role covers the full academic year, beginning in mid-August and running through June 1st. Ideal candidates should have expertise supporting students in a school-based environment and be comfortable working with a range of needs and age groups. Desired Experience and Qualifications: Valid state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; strong Clinical Fellows (CFY) will also be considered Previous experience in pediatric or school-based speech therapy is highly valued Solid understanding of the IEP process and ability to participate in goal setting and progress monitoring Exceptional communication and collaboration skills Experience with a diverse population of students and comfort supporting K-12th grade Responsibilities: Provide direct speech-language therapy to students both individually and in group sessions Develop, implement, and review Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments Collaborate with educators, school counselors, and families to ensure student success Maintain thorough documentation, progress notes, and required reports Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide expertise on communication disorders This position offers comprehensive benefits as well as matching 401k contributions, ensuring your well-being and future are supported.
