If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Front Desk Agent at CAMBRIA HOTEL SOUTH BOSTON! As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional service and ensuring a memorable stay. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy working with people, this is the perfect role for you.
Job responsibilities include:
- Processing all guest check-ins by confirming reservations, assigning rooms, and issuing and activating room keys.
- Processing all payment types such as room charges.
- Processing all check-outs including resolving any late and disputed charges.
- Answering, recording, and processing all guest calls, messages, requests, questions, or concerns.
- Coordinating with housekeeping to track readiness of rooms for check-in.
- Communicating parking procedures to guests/visitors and dispatching bell staff or valet staff as needed.
- Supplying guests with directions and information regarding property and local areas of interest.
- Running daily reports (number of arrivals, departures), identifying any special requests, and checking reports for accuracy.
- Completing designated cashier and closing reports in the computer system.
- Counting bank at the beginning and end of shift. Balancing and dropping receipts according to accounting specifications.
- Concierge duties.
- Previous hotel experience is highly preferred.
