ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Mojave Energy Systems is seeking an experienced Senior HVAC Service and Technical Support Technician to become a subject matter expert on our industry changing HVAC technology. You will be responsible for helping start up, troubleshoot, and repair our liquid desiccant systems. This is a hybrid position in the Anderson/Greenville area.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Troubleshoot/Repair Commercial Liquid Desiccant DOAS equipment in a timely and Quality Manner
• Assist in monitoring/triaging equipment remotely through our Remote Monitoring Software
• Operate power and hand tools, as well as the ability to operate a motor vehicle
• Utilize Technology to the fullest extent in order to enhance performance (email, internet usage, mobile service app, remote monitoring tool)
• Present a positive and helpful attitude at all times when interacting with customers and co-workers
• Maintain a high level of professionalism by arriving to work on time, and maintaining a neat physical appearance

QUALIFICATIONS

• EPA Certification
• Strong understanding of refrigeration fundamentals and superheat/subcooling, and troubleshooting
• Strong Electrical troubleshooting fundamentals
• Use electrical and piping schematics to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
• Strong Problem-Solving skills and attention to detail
• Clean driving record
• Ability to pass a background check
• Good Communication skills
• Organization and Time Management Skills

Bonus Qualifications:

• Trade School Certifications
• Previous experience working as an OEM service technician
• BAS experience

Travel Required:

• Up to 75% Travel

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, Weekends and Holidays as required. Home most weekends.

Mojave is a mission-driven company focused on advancing air conditioning technology. We manufacture our products in the United States at our Anderson, South Carolina facility and our engineering lab is based in Sunnyvale, California. We are committed to a workplace grounded in integrity, excellence, collaboration, and meaningful work. The anticipated compensation range for this position is $70,875 - $85,000 annually with an equity award (4 year vest) on hire. Final compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, qualifications, skills, and work location, consistent with applicable law. We offer a benefits package that may include annual bonus eligibility (equity award) health and welfare benefits, paid time off, company holidays, short/long-term disability and life insurance (subject to plan terms, eligibility requirements and applicable law).
