Position Summary

The High Volume Onboarding Specialist helps new professional tax-preparer customers successfully set up and use a software suite while also supporting essential employee-onboarding processes. This role combines technical aptitude, clear communication, careful documentation, and a customer-first mindset to create a smooth initial experience and support long-term retention.

Customer Onboarding Responsibilities

• Guide customers through initial setup and software installation.
• Assist with account creation and Electronic Filing Identification Number documentation uploads.
• Support data migration from previous software providers.
• Provide a positive initial experience that supports long-term customer retention.
• Serve as the primary point of contact during the initial post-purchase phase.
• Communicate by phone, email, and web-based tools to provide resources and documentation.

Employee Onboarding Responsibilities

• Coordinate pre-employment paperwork and benefits enrollment.
• Manage training schedules for new hires.
• Ensure compliance with company policies.
• Support offer letters, background checks, I-9 documentation, and identity-verification calls.
• Help create a welcoming environment and a smooth start for new employees.

Required Qualifications

• Strong technical aptitude with the ability to guide users through software installation, setup, and troubleshooting.
• Workday experience.
• Excellent phone, email, and web-based communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
• Experience handling onboarding processes such as offer letters, background checks, I-9s, and I-9 identity-verification calls.
• Knowledge of compliance requirements in taxation, finance, or a similar regulated industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to maintain accurate records.

Work Model

• Fully remote position.
• Four-month W-2 contract expected to begin October 12, 2026.

PAY

$20–$25 per hour on W-2
