Are you a motivated individual with a knack for problem-solving and a passion for customer service? We're looking for a Collections Specialist to join our dynamic team in Florham Park, NJ. This is a temporary position with the potential to become permanent for qualified candidates. You'll enjoy a hybrid work schedule, combining the comfort of working from home with the collaborative environment of our Reworld Corp Office.
Responsibilities:
- Manage collections of outstanding accounts receivable from our client base.
- Resolve customer billing issues and reduce accounts receivable delinquency.
- Conduct daily reviews of AR aging and monitor delinquent accounts.
- Make outbound collection calls and communicate effectively via email.
- Update customer accounts with detailed notes and handle disputes professionally.
- Identify and escalate issues contributing to delinquency.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to resolve discrepancies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- 2-4 years of experience as a collection specialist or similar role.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to a fast-changing environment.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
Preferences:
- Prior corporate business-to-business collections experience.
- Associate degree or higher in Business or equivalent.
- Experience with Collection Software such as PeopleSoft, NetSuite, or Sage ERP systems.
