Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Operating Room Certified Surgical Technologist (OR CST) to assist in a high-volume, Level I trauma center. The role involves supporting a wide range of surgical specialties with a focus on trauma, neuro, ENT, robotics, and transplant cases.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms and surgical instruments for diverse procedures across multiple specialties.
• Assist surgeons and nursing staff during various surgical interventions, ensuring adherence to sterile techniques.
• Manage and organize surgical supplies, instruments, and equipment, including robotics and specialized devices.
• Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic medical record system and coordinate with team members for efficient workflow.
• Respond to on-call shifts and support hospital needs, including potential float requirements within scope.
• Ensure compliance with all certifications, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current NBSTSA certification; BLS certification required.
• Possess at least 2 years of surgical technologist experience in a fast-paced operative setting.
• Demonstrate proficiency in neuro, ENT, robotics (DaVinci Xi), and transplant procedures preferred.
• Have a valid state licensure or certification as required for surgical technologists.
• Provide radiation badge or be willing to obtain one; experience in trauma cases is a plus.
• Be flexible to work 3x12 hour day shifts, including holiday and weekend rotations, with on-call responsibilities.
