Area Service Manager

We are hiring a Area Service Manager to lead a high-revenue, multi-team field service operation in Atlanta, one of our largest and fastest-growing markets (~$25–50M combined revenue).

This is a senior leadership role requiring strong business acumen, P&L ownership, and experience managing field service teams.

HVAC experience is a plus but not required; we prioritize leadership depth and business skills above technical background.

Team Structure

• 5 Truck-Based Service Managers (each leading 9–20 field technicians)
• 2 Contract Business Managers overseeing large commercial accounts
• Administrative staff (Contract Specialist + General Admin)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead TBSMs and CBMs; hold team to performance cadence and customer commitments
• Own branch P&L: forecasting, KPIs, financial metrics, and strategic planning
• Engage directly with top-tier accounts and selectively with frontline technicians
• Negotiate contracts, resolve escalations, and drive problem-solving across the branch

Required Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in multi-team field service leadership with $7M+ revenue responsibility
• Hands-on P&L ownership and KPI-driven management experience
• Strong customer-facing skills: negotiation, relationship management, and escalation handling
• Experience in service industries where teams go out to customer sites

Preferred (Nice to Have)

• HVAC, mechanical contracting, or building automation experience, especially in larger, KPI-driven operations
• Background in adjacent service industries where teams deploy to customer sites: equipment manufacturing with field service divisions, industrial/commercial electronics, automotive service operations
• Experience in a corporate or multi-location environment with structured policies and procedures
• Familiarity with OSHA standards and field safety compliance
• Business degree or equivalent

Compensation & Logistics

• Bonus: 20% of base salary target, tied to company, region, and branch performance
• 100% on-site in the Atlanta market; minimal overnight travel after onboarding
