Job Title: TEMP-Business Ops Support (Mechanical Engineering) Location: Atlanta, Georgia Regular/Temporary: Temporary Full/Part Time: Full-Time Job ID: 297506 Job Summary Provide professional services in support of unit management in the field as specified in the particular job posting. Focus will be in a professional field such as Communications, Marketing, Customer Service, Academic Administration, Event Management, Procurement, etc. Specific duties will be determined based on assignment and unit needs. This position will interact on a consistent basis with unit management and staff. This position typically will advise and counsel unit management and staff. This position will supervise: NA. Responsibilities Perform duties related to professional field assignment. Participate in reviews for compliance with policy and governmental regulations in the field. Provide input to department policies and procedures. May provide input to and administer project timelines and budgets. May interact with vendors regarding procurement and delivery issues. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Educational Requirements : Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience. Other Required Qualifications : Position requires the ability to pass a drug/alcohol pre‑screening; may require working competently with dangerous materials and in a hazardous environment, among other physical demands. May require lifting heavy objects up to 75 pounds and working in confined spaces, noisy environments, elevated locations, and adverse weather. May require wearing a full‑face respirator and working evenings or on an on‑duty rotation. Required Experience : Up to two years of job‑related experience. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities This job requires application of professional principles, processes and practices; application of regulations; utilization of basic and advanced computer applications including those specific to areas of responsibility; and communication skills. Other Information This is not a supervisory position. This position does not have any financial responsibilities. This position will not be required to drive. This role is not considered a position of trust. This position does not require a purchasing card (P‑Card). This position will not travel. This position does not require security clearance.
