Operations Research Analyst, SeniorThe Opportunity:As an Operations Research Analyst (ORSA), you’re passionate about exploring the root cause of an issue and then analyzing, reporting, and developing recommendations for a creative solution. We need an experienced ORSA like you to help us solve complex problems for our clients. As the leader of our Analytics Team, you’ll determine, employ, and lead the way for innovative analytic methods delivering impactful solutions. You won’t go at it alone, you’ll work alongside our Analytics Team, operational SMEs, technology experts, and clients to plan analytic methodologies, conduct research, gather data, analyze findings, interpret results, and convey findings to multiple audiences. You’ll lead your team to develop and updates web and cloud-based analytic apps, produce briefs, documents, presentations, and talking points, and present results, collaborate with stakeholders, and participate in various program meetings to improve program efficiency. In this role, you’ll use your passion for operations research to devise qualitative and quantitative methods and novel analytic methods such as models and processes utilizing logic models, mathematics, statistics, engineering methods, economics principles, optimization, sensitivity analysis, deterministic and stochastic modeling and simulation, return on investment analysis, cost benefit analysis, risk analysis, heuristics, and multi-criteria decision analysis (MCDA). The projected compensation range for this position is $69,300.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
